Then you decide whether the grass should go into the catcher via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

With the RM 253 petrol lawn mower, garden lawns of up to 1,800 m2 can be mowed. The expansive cutting width of 51 cm is highly practical, especially for maintaining larger areas. With the STIHL RM 253 you can take care of your lawn quickly and efficiently.

The mower is also equipped with an easy-start function, allowing you to start it with minimal effort whether it is cold or warm. The height-adjustable comfort handlebar ensures comfortable and ergonomic guidance of the lawn mower. The centrally positioned, seven-level cut-height adjustment feature is easy to use and allows for cutting heights from 20 mm to 100 mm.

Due to the multi-blade, mulching attachment and side discharge, this lawn mower is suitable for both mowing and mulching. You can either catch the cuttings directly or distribute them over the lawn via the side discharge. The STIHL RM 253 petrol lawn mower has a 55-litre grass catcher, with a fill-level indicator that shows you when to empty it.
