LONG-LIFE AIR FILTER SYSTEM

The long-life air filter system with cyclone air routing ensures that 80% of the dust particles are separated and transported out into the surrounding air. In turn this enables an extremely long filter service life and makes the tool easy to maintain.

STIHL ANTI-VIBRATION SYSTEM

The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. STIHL ELECTRONIC WATER CONTROL

Reduce water consumption during your work with cut-off machines. Simply activate the electronic water control with the touch of a button after starting. The water supply switches on in a speed-controlled manner, and switches off again automatically when idling. Use the plus and minus buttons to measure the water quantity without changing your grip position.

STIHL QUICKSTOP CUTTING WHEEL BRAKE

In confined spaces, it may be useful to open the wheel guard to cut upwards. To ensure that you work as safely as possible even in this kind of situation, if sufficient kickback occurs the sensor-controlled STIHL QuickStop cutting wheel brake stops the cutting wheel in a fraction of a second.

WATER CONNECTION

FOR DUST BINDING AND COOLING. When working with your power tool, a permanent water supply is provided for flushing the cutting wheel. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. With the water connection directly on the power tool, this rinsing is easy and permanently assured.
