The STIHL KMA 80 R is a battery powered Combi engine in the AK System, designed for use in home gardens. It’s powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery and is quiet, efficient, and powerful to tackle a variety of garden tasks - whether it’s pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing or cutting. Compatible with all Combi attachments (except FSB-KM), attaching and changing tools is easy – all you need to do is insert the Combi attachment into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place.
The loop handle with rubberized grip provides exceptional flexibility in confined spaces and has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. The KMA 80 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 speed settings. ECO mode (level 1), for Combi attachments suited to tasks that need lower power such as trimming lawn edges and full speed mode (level 2), for Combi attachments suited for tasks that need more power, such as clearing leaves which requires extra battery energy.
